Why Law firms trust ECHO with Litify
24 years of Salesforce engineering expertise, including a Litify practice built from the platform’s early foundation.
Most Litify consultants learned Salesforce after Litify became popular. ECHO has been a Salesforce Consulting Partner since 2010 — with roots in Salesforce implementation going back to 2005. That foundation matters because Litify is built on Salesforce. When something breaks, when a customization hits a platform limit, when an integration behaves unexpectedly, the answer is almost always in the Salesforce layer beneath. That is where two decades of engineering experience earns its value.
In July 2023, ECHO merged with Empiric Solutions — a firm that began working with Litify in 2017, close to the platform's own founding. Empiric had spent six years building a focused Litify practice: implementations, migrations, custom development, and deep integrations across plaintiff and defense firms. That specialization, combined with ECHO's Salesforce infrastructure depth, created something that did not previously exist — an independent Litify team with both platform breadth and legal-industry depth, operating without any vendor constraints.
If you are moving to Litify from a competing platform — or inheriting an org that was poorly implemented — you are not our first rescue. We have seen the configuration mistakes that accumulate when a generalist Salesforce firm tries to learn Litify on a client's project. We know which integrations break under load, which customizations create upgrade risk, and which data models cause problems down the line. That pattern recognition only comes with volume and tenure.
Today ECHO supports 10+ Litify clients and has built 140+ integrations across the broader Salesforce and legal technology stack — QuickBooks, medical records platforms, telephony systems, document automation tools, and others. These are not estimates. They are the result of a practice that has been working in this space, continuously, since 2017.

We had a bad experience with a previous Litify vendor. How is ECHO different?
We hear this regularly. The pattern is usually the same: a firm was referred to a vendor through Litify's partner network, the implementation was handled by consultants who were learning the platform on the firm's project, and when problems emerged post-go-live, the vendor was slow to respond or difficult to hold accountable.ECHO is not part of Litify's referral network. We have no commercial relationship with Litify that creates an incentive to sell implementations. Our Litify practice started in 2017 through Empiric Solutions — built independently, before there was a partner network to join.In practice, that means three things: we only take on engagements where we are confident we can deliver, we work on a rolling retainer so you are never left without support after a project closes, and you only pay if you are satisfied with the results. That last point is not a marketing line — it is in our service agreement.
How does the timezone difference work in practice?
Better than most firms expect — and that is not a sales answer, it is what our clients tell us after the first month. By the time you open your laptop in the morning, your ECHO team has already been working on your Litify org for four hours. Our team starts at 10am CET / 4am EDT. Deployments happen overnight while your org is inactive — no downtime, no disruption to your users. From 8am to 1pm EDT, both teams are fully online at the same time. Calls, reviews, and urgent questions are handled in real time during that window. After 1pm your time, anything raised is picked up overnight and resolved before your next morning. Your project manager is a fluent English speaker with deep Litify experience. You work directly with the people building your system.ECHO is a San Francisco-registered company operating on US professional norms. The timezone difference is invisible to most clients within the first two weeks. Ricci Law, Shulman & Hill, Weitz & Luxenberg, and others all asked this question before signing. All of them are still on this model today.
How long does a typical Litify engagement take to show results?
Most clients see meaningful improvements within the first 30 days. The audit is completed in the first week. Critical fixes typically ship within two to three weeks. The full backlog — integrations, custom builds, workflow redesign — unfolds across the retainer on a prioritized schedule you approve.
Do you work with both plaintiff and defense law firms?
Yes. Our Litify work spans personal injury, mass tort, workers' compensation, insurance defense, and general civil litigation. The platform's data model is flexible enough that firms on opposite sides of the aisle use similar core configurations — the differences are mostly in intake flow, fee structure, and reporting. We have experience on both sides.
What Litify certifications does your team hold?
Our team holds Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I and II, and Salesforce Consulting Partner certifications. Several team members have held Litify-specific product training certifications. Because Litify is built on Salesforce, Salesforce certifications are the more meaningful credential — and ECHO has been accumulating them since 2010.
Can you integrate Litify with our existing software?
Yes — this is one of our specialties. We have built 140+ integrations across the legal tech stack, including QuickBooks, medical records platforms (MedStar, ChartSwap, Copy Central), telephony systems (Five9, RingCentral), document automation (Clio Grow, DocuSign, Formstack), and more. If you have a system your firm depends on, we have almost certainly integrated it before.
What does working on a rolling retainer mean for our firm?
It means your firm always has a dedicated team available — without re-onboarding, re-scoping, or re-quoting every time something needs to be done. Work is drawn from a shared backlog you maintain with your project manager. Hours are tracked and you can adjust scope each month. No surprise invoices. No re-explaining your org from scratch every engagement.
