Ricci Law Firm’s users struggled with duplicate event series cluttering their calendars, making it challenging to track and identify the correct meetings. Salesforce's built-in solution for deleting event series proved ineffective because events synced from Outlook were inserted as individual entries rather than part of a series. This caused confusion and inefficiencies in managing schedules.

To address the issue, we developed a custom solution using Lightning Web Components (LWC):

• Custom Button Implementation: Created a button to identify and delete duplicate events.

• Matching Criteria: The solution matched duplicates by comparing the subject, start time, and weekday.

• Series-Like Recognition: Ensured that improperly synced individual events were treated and removed as if they were part of an event series.
