On top of that, they tracked individual volunteer hours and training progress across separate systems. Staff spent hours manually updating data instead of focusing on community impact.

Solution

We built a centralized Salesforce solution that connected the dots across their existing tools. A custom serve day process replaced heavy spreadsheets, while monthly imports of volunteer activity from Volgistics created a full view of engagement. The Moodle training platform was integrated to track training progress and completion directly from Salesforce.

Results

The solution eliminated the fear of data loss from fragile spreadsheets and transformed the experience. Staff can now review, filter, assign volunteers, and pull reports in minutes instead of hours. Manual entry is down while visibility is up, with everything consolidated in one place including serve days, volunteer hours, and training milestones.
