Our Favorite New Features for Salesforce Spring ‘19

The Salesforce Spring ’19 Release is now out in your production instances and believe us, the new image of Einstein on your load screens isn’t the only thing that has changed! This year’s release is loaded with amazing features. We understand that going through 432 pages of the release notes can be tedious. So, to simplify things our team of Salesforce consultants has gone through and highlighted some of our favorite new features for beginner and veteran admins alike in our latest blog.

Latest from the Technology Industry

Every time we blink there is a data breach. Security researcher Troy Hunt recently discovered a collection of 773 million hacked emails and passwords. This discovery brings to the forefront the jarring truth that nobody can guarantee the safety of information once it has been digitized. So how do we find a solution to our cybersecurity woes? Read Improving Cybersecurity Means Taking More Care with What We Digitize and find out.

Stanford Social Innovation Review recently conducted a survey of nearly 2,000 leaders of nonprofits, foundations, and other charitable organizations to find out what they thought about feedback and why it is important, yet difficult to give? Read more.

ECHO’s Cybersecurity Simplified Webinar

“(Cybersecurity) Endpoint attack vectors are proliferating faster than traditional enterprise security approaches can keep up.” – Wipro’s STATE OF CYBERSECURITY REPORT 2018

A decade ago cybersecurity was the least of the concerns of small and medium size organizations because they were “too small for hackers to really care about”. But that is no longer the case. As cyberattacks get worse and simple anti-virus software and passwords can no longer provide sufficient protection, SMBs need to get their cybersecurity game strong. Don’t know where to start? We can help. Join ECHO’s “Cybersecurity Simplified” webinar on February 21, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. and help us help you be better-informed about cybersecurity and better-prepared for cyberattacks and data breaches.

We are going to NTC. Are You?

Nonprofit Technology Conference

Every year Nonprofit Technology Network (NTEN) organizes its Nonprofit Technology Conference (NTC) in March. The three-day conference is attended by 2,300 nonprofit professionals and changemakers from around the globe who interact, attend immersive sessions and have loads of fun.

This year NTC is being organized in Portland, Oregon from March 13th – March 15th and we are more excited than usual because ECHO is leading a session on IT Best Practices from 10:30 A.M. – 11:45 A.M. on March 15, 2019!!

What’s New at ECHO

Karen’s promotion to Director of Sales and Marketing

At ECHO we truly believe that people power organizations and so it is imperative to recognize and reward hard work, dedication and loyalty. We are thrilled to announce that Karen Yu just got promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing. Karen is a highly driven individual who is both an excellent team player and an exceptional leader. As the first point of contact for many clients, Karen’s work involves constantly striving to understand the business goals and needs of clients and providing them with the “right fit” of solutions. But with her flair for consulting, sagaciousness and dedication to clients as well as ECHO, she consistently exceeds expectations and delivers outstanding results. Hence this is natural progression for Karen.  Congratulations Karen for this well-deserved promotion!
