ECHO visits the home of the San Francisco Giants
ECHO loves the fact it was born in San Francisco and naturally some of its employees are infatuated with the Giants. Like myself. We were especially excited that ECHO invited all of its employees to one of my favorite places in the entire world, AT&T Park. Not only did ECHO score us some of the best seats in the ballpark, but it was a Giants vs. Dodgers game, which to a non-baseball fan can only be described as one of the best rivalries in the sport of baseball.
The evening was great on so many levels. It was wonderful to see coworkers that we normally see less frequently because they are spending time at client locations or on the phone serving our help desk. That Sunday, as the sun was going down, we all got to share an evening together, sitting on the Bay, with drinks and food in our hands, surrounded by laughter and great vibes. Now I’m a huge baseball fan, so of course I’m in heaven watching the game. But what’s great about baseball is that it lends so well to socialization, so even the non-baseball fans are having a great time; cheering, socializing, laughing, and enjoying each-others company. There were people there that had never been to a baseball game, and this experience created new memories of their first game right here in our beautiful city of San Francisco, with their ECHO colleagues. We had invited a few Clients as well, how fun for them to be able to see what it’s like to be a part of the ECHO team.
ECHO really made an impression on all of us this Sunday. Not only that they splurged on great seats with amazing views, but they generated the kind of camaraderie that I believe a lot of other companies lack. I was left thinking: “Wow, I am so lucky to be a part of this team.”
