ECHO and Agile Scrum

ECHO and Agile Scrum

Everyone supports agile methodologies, but few companies put that support into practice. At ECHO, we fully embrace agile methodologies to deliver the best possible product to our clients without sacrificing months of planning before seeing results. Some of our clients see results in less than two weeks after project kickoff! From that point on, it only gets better, as clients see new functionality added and progress made at every sprint.

ECHO’s software development team uses agile Scrum methodology to continuously grow and improve custom software development projects through weekly or bi-weekly sprints. Each Scrum project has a product manager and Scrum Master who manage weekly sprint review and planning meetings with our clients. This structure generates rapid results for clients and allows for swift reaction to changes, eliminating the need to revisit a cumbersome and expensive planning process. We support agile approaches through subscription-style agreements that allow clients to reserve needed resources, such as Scrum product managers, Scrum Masters and developers, for a specified amount of time each week or month. This arrangement ensures continuous growth for our clients.

ECHO is unique in that we incorporate the project planning process into agile methodology implementation. Even change-friendly agile projects need a vision! Thus, before we gear up for agile mode, we develop a project charter, outlining details such as high-level deliverables and sub-deliverables, milestones, objectives, risks, and budget. During weekly sprint planning and monthly retrospective meetings, ECHO ensures that we don’t lose track of your long-term project goals and vision.
