This nonprofit promotes rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community.
This nonprofit has over 100 used Windows XP workstations to support key activities to track staff and assign service providers; however, the Windows XP environment was unstable and crashing daily. This meant staff spent 15 minutes of their workday dealing with technical issues or slow response times and often had to revert to a paper based system, greatly impacting staff and organizational productivity,
ECHO was able to develop a solution that replaced the antiquated XP environment with a server and thin client workstations. This provided a fast, stable environment in a cost effective approach.
The staff’s wait times and technical issues are now eliminated, additionally, they no longer have to revert to paper-based systems.
Challenge No. 2:
Our client had rolled out iPhones to their employees but was unable to give their staff access to email and data on the devices.
ECHO provided a cost effective solution and migrated the 220 mailboxes to Office365 and data and documents from file servers into a Microsoft OneDrive cloud-based server.
Staff now gained access from their iPhones to their email as well as to client data, significantly increasing the amount of time staff could spend in the field with clients.
