Dear Community Members,
It is hard to accept that this is the reality of America today. I am truly disgusted that it is the year 2020 and amidst all the progress made, we are still dealing with deeply rooted, systemic racism.
I wish I could say I did more when I heard that my friend Joe gets regularly pulled over, or when I saw him teach his two boys about what or what not to do when approached by cops. The truth is I didn’t know what to do other than vote based on politicians’ track records. Before I go vote, I ask Joe to vet my vote, but that’s about it.
This changes immediately. As a company, we believe Black Lives Matter. As a leader, I am committed to listening, learning and taking action to support my community.
